Baillie & The Fault LP
Hello there!
I am currently writing what will be the first ever Baillie & The Fault record.
The songs making the cut at the moment are very strong, and i'm looking forward to getting the new ones out there when the time is right.
The occasional gig may pop up here or there, so keep checking back here, and at the myspace/facebook pages. For now though, it's important that i remain in this creative little cave and continue working to bring you all something that will hopefully be very special.

American Boy...
Well hello there!
Just a quick note to keep you all in the loop...
The Scruffs record i have been working on this year, "Conquest" was completed at the end of June. The artwork is being put together meticulously for the physical release, which is looking to be set for very early 2010. It is a very fun album and features, along with myself on guitars/vocals/percussion/banjo, members of Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub, The Proclaimers, Big Star and Punch & The Apostles. It has been a true honour to be involved. Updates on the record's release will be available here.
In 'Mike Baillie' news, i am currently in California, continuing work on the demos for the debut Baillie & The Fault record. While i am here, i will playing some never-before-heard songs at a couple of venues around the area. Get down if you can, and check out the new stuff!! I hope to see you there.
