Vic Galloway RADIO ONE
"Great musicianship, great songwriting, great songs."
"A good pedigree of musician... If this was Cruft's, Baillie & The Fault would be straight in with first prize."
Jim Gellatly BEAT 106/Xfm SCOTLAND
"Still in his early 20's Mike has been floating around the scene for a while. Originally playing in a bunch of Edinburgh bands, he decamped to Glasgow to become a member of a fledgling Our Lunar Activities, playing high profile supports with Snow Patrol, Teenage Fanclub and Belle And Sebastian. Now back doing his own thing with his much talked about project, Baillie & The Fault, he has recruited an impressive array of mates to play with him, including Craig Grant (Union Of Knives), Scott Smith (Degrassi) and Sean McGrath (The Martial Arts). Debuting with the "Cross Your Fingers And Pray That It Rains" EP, Mike and the gang give us a fine slab of melodic, but jaggy anthems. It's fair to say that something special is brewing."
Simon Kirby, Acoustic Edinburgh
"We're really happy to welcome back the hugely talented MIKE BAILLIE with his recently resurrected solo project, THE FAULT. Mike is one of those musicians who always seems to have several projects on the go at once, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, playing alongside the likes of Snow Patrol, Belle and Sebastian and Teenage Fanclub."
The SCOTSMAN
"Strikingly accomplished guitar work"
The LIST
"Mike Baillie throws down the gauntlet with his robust, Damien Rice-esque acoustica. Heartfelt... great to watch..."
